Pimmie Peachey-Schoorl Pimmie Peachey-Schoorl

Introduction

A life-long spinner, Pimmie was taught the craft by her grandmother at the age of eight. Jan Louët Feisser (of Louët spinning wheels) referred to her Grandmother as "The grande lady of the Dutch spinning world" in the seventies.

Through her friendly and outgoing personality, her increasingly expanding knowledge of textile and crafts, her social involvement and love for the field, Pimmie has gained a small level of prominence in the Dutch spinning community herself.

She is a professional production spinner of big-textured yarns and gives workshops, private courses, and presentations across the Netherlands.

Pimmie has appeared in several publications online and in print, and can be seen in action on YouTube.
